This set includes Oman's original seven volume work, John A Hall's supplementary HISTORY OF THE PENINSULAR WAR VOLUME VIII: THE BIOGRAPHICAL DICTIONARY OF BRITISH OFFICERS KILLED AND WOUNDED, 1808-1814, and Paddy Griffith's HISTORY OF THE PENINSULAR WAR VOLUME IX, MODERN STUDIES OF THE WAR IN SPAIN AND PORTUGAL, 1808-1814, an invaluable collection of essays and bibliographic studies by leading scholars. Some of these volumes are now extremely scarce.
